The versatile companion doing more than the Sport in its name

The Chopard LUC Sport 2000 is a lovely watch that can be dressed both up and down to an extent and is a truly GADA watch (assuming the owner will not dive to beyond 100m, which I suppose none do πŸ˜‰).

While not a classical black tie piece (at least not the blue dial variety), you can wear it with a short and jacket in some combinations and it’s not completely at sea. I suppose the slender profile paired with some lovely design flourishes help here (dial, indices…).

Anyone else with a Chopard at the start of this week? (And we need to slowly but surely ensure that Nico finally gets his first 😁🀞🏻)

The dial is really very intricate for a sports watch - they did things differently back in the day 😁

I know…

And if it’s after hours, it’s 🍺 resistance πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Very elegant and beautiful for both a sport and dress watch.

It's really such a great one. I like watches that can go dress and then sport, and you can enjoy wearing them whenever, where ever. Since you asked, I had my Chopard on this week. A different kind of sporty dressy one. It's a favorite of mine. ...

In many ways it really is timeless…

The one element that is a bit period specific is the bezel, the rest could come from many a period πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»

Same here πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ»

The diver was a relatively serious piece of equipment back in the day but as I do not dive I find the Sport 2000 fits me better and is more versatile for me πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»
