The cruel truth
is that Chopard isn't 'in fashion', in fact quite the reverse. Consequently these fabulous watches sell for a fraction of retail. Not nice if you bought at RRP but an excellent opportunity if you want a brilliant watch at a 'low' price
and don't worry much about the brand recognition.
Having said that I think that, shockingly, if you were to buy this watch you would be unlikely to recoup what you paid if you decided to sell.
If jewelled watches are your thing, this is a great watch and you can be sure that Chopard service is about as good as it gets.
I will be interested to see what you decide to do.

just an observation the two digit date wheels windows show that it should of changed to the 10th as its showing 0045 but is still showing the 9th. best to steer clear if i we you

The dealer says they did not use the corrector pin properly. Apparently it’s a brand new watch with full warranty. Thanks fir pointing out the issue though. My main question is why the high cost? Is it mainly the diamonds?
Perpetual calender in platinum plus diamonds adds up
Then pricing and market of luxury goods is complicated since say a Patek with similar spec is a differnt ballgame.
