Thanks MTF for the proposed solution, I've also sort of figured a similiar solution with a gentler push back of the crown but thought there could be a simpler solution....
The discussion on this issue 10 yrs back probably got missed out by myself because I actually haven't own one yet.... But as you mentioned this is indeed one fine engineering... Best of all watches I've handled so far in terms of feel....great precision indeed ( btw great choice of heading).
Just out of curiosity from your profile pics are you from down under ? Would be great if so...
Hope the grin is still there with the 1963 chrono.... What a gem with the manual wind... Wish they have a steel version which hopefully closer to my reach....for now just have to make do with my primero manual which is a gem too IMHO

James, For Australian PuristS, the order can be through PuristSPro as we have been provided with the Chopard "order form". Delivery will be through Chopard channels and they will sort out the logistics. Hope that helps. Regards, MTF
