Say "NO" to Dunlop...
Reading your thread really got me thinking. How much do I like the Dunlop Tire Strap..
So, I thought I would answer the question... I don't like it, not one bit.
When I first bought my MM GMT, Chrono, I thought the strap was new, inventive. I kept it on the watch for over a year.
But I was never really happy with the way the strap closed. I hated having to slide those belt loops over the metal clasp so I could tuck in the extra material.
I went to a SS bracelet and not only does it make the watch look a lot nicer, it's much more comfortable to wear.
I think Chopard should stop selling their watches on the dunlop bracelet which is only, so-so. They should sell all their pieces on SS bracelets (making the watch more prestigious and competing with the Speedmaster and such..) and give the Dunlop Tire Bracelet as an accessory.
They are really hurting the images of their watches by not selling them on braclets..
