Chopard

Rotor noise...

 

Hi,

If the watch is not in need of servicing and is in good mechanical condition, the rotor on the Chopard MM and many that use ETA movements have a noise and even a feeling when the rotor spins. This is during winding or free spinning when you move your wrist. Unless it is really loud, as in hearing it from a good distance away, I would say you are fine. You could always have it checked by a Chopard dealer or by a good watch tech.

I recently got a Mille Miglia Classic as a gift. The watch seems to make a lot of noise. Is this typical for Millie Miglia's or Chopards in general? Sounds kinda like a bearing race. It has kept the correct time for the past few days but just doesnt seem ...

Well I went to one of the 3 Chopard stores in the Chicago area and they said it was fine. The person that answered my questions sounded like she should be selling buttons not high end watches... However, I was able to play around with a couple other Chopa...
