Chopard

Dear friends, My apologies for being absent recently due to illness. Ultimately, it was nothing more serious than 'man-flu' but at the time, I thought the End was nigh! One highlight of an otherwise bleak week was Christmas "Dinner" (as the Brits call it)...  

I did not recall seeing that one, it is a beautiful watch.

I think its the seasonal concerts that reminded me to look for it. I wish I could read music to know what tune is depicted. Regards, MTF

Another really informative post about the Chopard story - not sure we could let this count towards the 35 initially promised, though. At that pace you will be done in no time and where will we get additional stories from then? Also glad you are feeling be...

A lovely watch. Calibre 3.96 is a great movement, but perhaps calibre 1.96 would even better match the fineness of Mr. Carreras? Wish you many healthy and happy years to come!

...the L.U.C calibre 1.96 was encased only in precious metal, whereas the and 4.96 could be used in either precious metal or steel cases. As part of the proceeds would go to the Leukaemia Foundation, the watch had to be priced reasonably to sell out; hen... 

this is a very beautiful watch. I do wonder what is the musical note around the index. perhaps Mr. Carreras's favorite song..?
