Armis asks a great question about other versions. Miranda has already placed this watch in rarefied air with the AP Jumbo and Patek 5711. I very much like it and messaged my dealer Monday morning the moment I saw it. I would never trade my AP Jumbo for it...

In terms of quality it certainly is up there with the giants. But can Chopard resist the temptation to keep it within limits is to be seen. AP show great resilience with the Jumbo, the knock on effect was that it raised the desirability of all the range. ...

I guess they try to follow the Czapek success more than any other brands. I see a nice watch improved in aesthetic and mechanics, but any comparison with RO and Nautilus is biased by market value.

On one side, there is limited production capacity of LUC, always heard about 5~6000 pcs/year. On other side, Chopard is a family business but we hear good things about Mr KFS, wanting just the best for the brand and collectors, not the hype. I hope they c... 

Quality is on par, if not better than their direct competitors as well. And so you know, there is a couple of surprises not yet seen that are game changers IMHO 😉🤫🤫🤫

I immediately placed an order for it when I saw few shots in Feb. Have the steel blue version, 8hz grey and this would be my third and hopefully the final one of the AE . Sucker for salmon dials and I hope they would keep it limited supply ..

Will this new Alpine Eagle XPS ever reach Nautilus or Royal Oak status? Obviously impossible to tell at the get-go, but highly unlikely. There's no-one who loves Patek Philippe more than me on this planet, and yet, it is hard to imagine the Nautilus itsel...

I do not think it will reach Nautilus or Jumbo status anytime soon purely based on branding. I personally like it more than a 5711. And hopefully Chopard does not go the Lange Odysseus route either by requiring bundling.
