LU Chopard Quattro Spirit 25 - the Jump hour model gets a fresh-up...

to celebrate the 25 years of Chopard Quattro technology LU Chopard refreshes the Jump Hour version with straw marquetry dials...

3 models were launched, with each limited to 8 pcs only...

Rose Gold case with a Green marquetry dial
Yellow Gold case with a Brown marquetry dial
White Gold case with a Grey-Black marquetry dial

while the case dimensions remain same as the previous versions at 40mm x 10,3mm thickness and lug-to-lug at 46mm, Stunning straw marquetry dial replaces the enamel dial in the earlier models.

the movement Quattro Cal. 98.01-L juices out a 8 days PR and rest of the specifications remain the same.

of course, key feature of this timepiece remains the dial...it might seems simple but

Marquetry is done manually, meaning grouping each straw and hand-cutting to fit-in each of the honey-comb hexagonal shape so it reflects differently with lighting...

see below the variation of the dial with different angles...here the green is lively

but then here, it feels dark green and totally different !

You'll see the same effect on the YG - Brown dial combination

I like this version, I feel it is much refined...

I like the fact that the hour window matches the dial colour.

I also must highlight that, at certain angles the hands blend on to the dial so reading time could be a hassle but then....most don't wears watches to see time now-a-days ?!

The visual “power” of the watch/dial is lost with these.

I agree. I think that complications and jump hours

I would prefer the enamel dial as it is much refined imho

Fortunately, rare handcrafts pieces are a little lees about reading time

I do like these but sad not to see the White gold black dial.

While I agree these are very, very nice....I can't get past the double vision brand logo it's giving me doubts on my vision, lol.

we all know our obsessions and for a collector it make sense that every detail is important at this price point.
