Indeed....the standard operating procedure
for transport is to move only the watch head but not straps that require CITES papers.
For Day 1, the watch had temporary 1960s style "Classic Racing" fenestrated strap attached but the correct alligator skin strap was available from Day 2......
Temporary strap came from the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique line of watches......
