I would disagree that this is a dress watch, per se — more a casual watch for those who prefer a leather strap. Bigger dial makes for greater legibility and decent size features without looking cramped or crowded.

But either way, it is a stunning watch! Best Blomman

Thanks for sharing the watch and your opinions of it - not one we see often here I agree with the size, although the Chopard lug design goes some way in compensating for the size and making the watches wear a tad smaller.

But there is a lot to like here and I really like their approach to Fair trade and environmental sustainability! So I hope one day to join you in the Chopard club! Best Blomman

...it could be made at 38mm.

Not sure if it would work with smaller dial. But, the case and lugs do wear smaller than 42 mm. You should try! Best Blomman
