Great post, Kong!

No photos of the canteen? I was hoping to catch a glimpse of what was on the menu.
Curious: Were all of the steel rods for cases or case backs? If they are for case backs, are they all made at the same diameter/size and then machined down to fit whatever case needed? If they are for the cases, are the lugs then added to it?
Great report! Thanks for the details, photos and allowing us to get the inside scoop.
Bob
ps
Loved the strand of steel for the bracelet links!

Chopard Factory Visit, Part 1
By: Kong : January 24th, 2009-23:21
Back in last summer, July 2008 ( just before the watchmaking holidays), I was thrilled to be invited by Chopard L.U.C to visit the plants in Geneva and Fleurier. The plan was to visit the Geneva plant on first day followed by Fleurier (in Val-de-Travers)....
Very Nice.

Thanks Kong,
