I think I have seen some pics but not the original review. And somehow I overlooked the hand wound bit 
A lovely piece and one of the most intriguing MM watches. Also agree that the hands were well chosen, even if they appear short at first glance.

Was my first impression but seeing your last picture I agree with you. Perfect match with the hour markers and it leaves the chronograph hand "free" to ... Chronograph. Beautiful watch. Cheers, Nilo
The feel of the pusher is surprisingly good for a non-Chopard movement
The break is crisp but without a pre-warning build up like the A. Lange & Söhne Datograph or the Chopard L.U.C 1963 Chrono. There is no starting 'jump' of the chronograph seconds hand. Regards, MTF
I think the hands look good the way the line up as you pointed out.
The grey dial and the movement are both very stunning, I'm sure I could stare at them all day long in awe!
