Chopard and EsZeHa made watches for more than 150 and 100 years respecively, merging in 1963 into Chopard.
Chopard did not make jewellery until the 1980s so it is both a blessing and a curse that people see it as a jewellery brand.
On one hand, much recognition and praise of their jewellery prowesss within a short time.
On the other hand, not "perceived' as the original watchmaker with more watch sales than jewellery!
Wait till you see the horologic wonders all through 2016 - 2018.
It will be A-Maze-Zing!

An AD salesperson told me that Chopard has been doing OK in recent years.
