Cool dial aside, the L.U.C 96.40-L movement, without the date at 4:30, makes this special indeed!
If I were to get an Alpine Eagle, this is without a doubt the reference I would go for. Congratulations!
(Have in fact been considering trading my L.U.C. Quattro for this, the salmon dial 1860, or the Héritage Grand Cru.)

And sorry if the "call" comment misled you. I have had this watch since December and have posted it more than once before. That said, it still feels new to me and that's a very good feeling...👍
