Chopard 16/8961 (Miglia Tycoon) chronograph
Hello All,
I'm a long time lurker on ThePurists website, first time poster (or perhaps first time in several years). I consider several criteria for adding timepieces to my collection, one among them being the case style. I'm interested in adding a rectangular or square cased piece, and have been considering the Chopard 16/8961 as one possibility.
I'm interested in opinions on the 16/8961 in general, as well as any thoughts on comparison to other Chopard chronos and similarly priced chronos from other manufacturers. I do have some experience with Chopard chronos, as I currently own a Monaco Historique (limited 250 pcs) chronograph with FP 1185 movement, and previously owned a Mille Miglia (original 39mm model).
Any comments greatly appreciated. I've included a photo of the watch below.
Thanks!
-Dave H.
