I noticed that you mentioned "carbochon" variations in red, blue, black etc colours. I wonder what the jewellers think?
The usual definition of 'carbochon' is "a smooth round or oval, convex, polished gemstone". In watch terminology, it describes a decorative stone set in the crown. But, Chopard stones are not just plain, smooth gems; they are faceted and finished. Does this make them NOT carbochon but some other terminology?
