Sounds about right - a bit of a surprise…
But I was not driving so far for nothing. Even had to put in an extra hour this morning to find a place that would sell me snow chains - they would not let me up without 😁🤷🏻♂️
Not that they were necessary in the end 🤷🏻♂️
But a non-negotiable requirement. If I was them I would look at the fact that the car was still on summer tires, not for the chains that will remain comfortably in the boot 😉

But summer tires in snow ain‘t fun! Alternatively you could have mounted snow tires - you need them probably anyway the next couple of months…
