Chopard

Another superb Chopard, another superb LUC: The perpetual calendar in platinum (100 pieces ) or in rose gold ( curiously rarer, 25 pieces ). The case is 43 mm big, 11, 41 mm high, which could be a bit too big for me, for this kind of watch, I mean, but wh...  

...and the thickness wouldn't be terrible under 12mm...

The Roman numerals seemed too cut up for my taste: But there was this dial too: Cazalea PS -- and possibly this prototype? with retrograde date before the big date window below 12? ...  

I’m a Patek guy, but this one would make me cheat . Lol

The last one is the „Luna d‘Oro“; not a prototype, but another watch from the time before L.U.C. It has no Chopard movement. A FP I think; no glass caseback.

Thanks god that the watch industrie offer golden watches who look silver. Platinum, white gold, that pleased me a lot. So it is also a target for me to collect it. Strange is that i like bronze. But looking at my watch collection, it is absence. The stain... 

I never heard of white gold a lot of years ago. So my chance to get a golden watch which my eyes like.

Deeper said, not every yellow gold is bad. It depends also on the hue and light fall. My chiose for platinum, white gold is the icy effect it has. Glacier cool. When i say tantalum? That strong metal alloy. I only know F.P. Journe have a peace made of thi... 

40 mm case would be nice but they will have to rework the dial design as the subdials are already touching and to accommodate the big date window.
