It can't really compete with BluNotte's PAM341

 

but still, my watch has also a blue strap. This watch is not as impressive as many of the bigger watches, but in seven weeks I have learned to love it.

Just a bit over seven weeks ago I found this watch from the bank vault. I really could not understand why I bought it many years earlier. However, I decided to post a couple of pictures here.

I guess one thing which pleased me with the watch was the slim profile. It is possible to make some miracles with Piage's movements.

But what I did not like was the buckle and the strap which was too dark to my taste. So some four weeks ago I visited a Cartier Boutique and ordered a blue strap as well as a folding clasp. Just on Monday last week I picked them up.

And now the watch felt much better. I decided to test it a week ago and now I can't take it out from my wrist! One of you gave me a golden advice seven weeks ago: "give the watch another change". Thank you for that advice!

I am now a very happy owner of Cartier's Basculante Mechanique. It is not as impressive as some bigger watches like the mentioned Panerai. But I am very happy with the elegance and modesty of this watch.
