Fully agree that it’s a future classic and I like it better than the new version which seems bit less masculine.
The folks at Cartier really did a great job.
For comparison purpose I’ve put the “before” and “after” pictures below. If you zoom in you’ll notice it had many very fine thin scratches. Not disturbing but now it looks like new again.
The other good news is that the Full Service + polishing etc took very little time. Three weeks after I handed it in, I could collect it already.
That’s because Cartier has their own servicing and repair shop with several highly skilled and trained Cartier watchmakers, in the large boutique in Dubai Mall. Hence no need to sent it back and forth to Europe.
And finally again another thumbs up for Cartier: their invoice. I had expected the total amount to be a lot higher than what I had to pay. I won’t mention any amount (I belief such would be against the spirit of this forum) but it was less than 1/3 of what I had assumed.
