I just gained a whole new appreciation for this Pasha model. The years 1910-1950 were really golden years for Cartier: so many new designs that endured the test of time! my picture but not my watch ...

How interesting. Did Cartier ever acknowledge this? If you're right (and I believe you to be the ultimate on all matters concerning Cartier horology!) does it mean that it that they made a special piece without date and in the larger 41mm dimension? Or is...

I was very curious after reading this thread so I pulled out some vintage Cartier catalogues. I found one from 1980 (the Pasha had certainly not been launched in 1980) and in the beginning of the catalogue there are a few pages illustrating the history of...

And hence my surprise to find this picture. Since it comes from a book that is a catalogue from Cartier's own exhibition and listed as copyright "Collection Cartier", I had no reason to doubt it's authenticity. But I trust your expertise on this matter - ...

When I see this photo in (some) Cartier books I always wondering:👉👉 if this is the 40s original Then what really Gerald Genta did in 1985 to the design?! Did he just copy a smaller case and put some numbers on the bezel?! Its really not work...
