You made a wise choice...
...with 5817...
I chose for my first Breguet, the expensive (for me) and magnificent perpetual 5327... It is a complicated moving sculpture, but you cannot wear it every day, except if you are a lord or something...
I wanted a watch that I could wear every day, if I wanted to... When I tried the 5817, my quest ended... Simple yet elegant, with a wonderful wave pattern in different parts of the watch... And yes the bracelet kills the dial, for me...
Now for YG, the best strap is the reddish brown croco strap... but I will not object to the wonderful black rubber that will extend the use of 5817, being impervious to sweat or water...
And you can always go back to the croco for dressier occasions...
I will permit my self and Jack congratulations for another convert and believe me you will be happy for many years with this precise and very beautiful watch, that photos do not do it full justice. until you wear it....
Congrats my friend and I wish you a good woman with the looks of a Carla Bruni to accompany your first Breguet, at the beginning of your career...

I'd get the 1st watch
because it's more youthful given your age since you just graduated. I've never been a fan of conservative looking watches such as the last 2 but maybe my taste will change when my hair starts to turn grey Cheers, Anthony

I'll chose the first one .... in my opinion the nicest of 3 and one of my favorite "suit" pieces but then again if I were you I'll take the one that I like the most after trying all 3 on my hand regardless what anyone else is saying BEst Damian
Dates are a
no go in a classic dial IMHO. So I would choose between the classic dial and the white version. The simplicity of the enamel faced version with the arabic numerals, strikes me. It's a little less Breguet style, but it stands out; this would be my choice. ...

Don't buy the 5140 the bezel of the watch is rounded and scratch easily also its close at the back. The best one is the classique 5178BR OR 5177BB if you like white gold enamel dial. Trust my advice... Enjoy
