Wonderful pics as usual, Henrik. A word or two about symmetry….

As far as I can tell from your photos, a center line can be drawn through (top to bottom) the 15 (moon phase) the XII (hour) the center pinion, and the VI. The wonderfully quirky thing is the offset small seconds.

But what is even better, for me, is the fact that the whole movement seems to be offset when one turns the watch over (pic 8).  Yet the rotor's center seems to line up on that center line! I'm so confused! (Clearly I do not know enough about watchmaking.) But I find this offset of the rotor to be a wonderful surprise (and I like surprises when turning a watch over). Could you take a minute to help me understand what is going on here? Does the offset have anything to do with the offset of the seconds hand? It seems not? if the rotors center lines up with the center pinion. Uh… oh, dear. I love it, but would like to know why!

Thanks eversomuch for your fine work. All of us love to see what your latest photo sessions will bring to the forum! Have a fine day!   FH

Here are some shots of the new Breguet Classique ref 7337, you will see both the white gold and the red gold timepieces. Hope you enjoy the impressions! Cheers Henrik ...

Thank you very much! [nt]

I will try to get an answer to it...

... and circle back once I have it. Asymmetry is a signature element of Breguet reaching back to the time of A.-L. Breguet. Therefore I would not be surprised if there was no technical reason but it’s purely a aesthetic choice taken deliberately. Thank yo...

Not really a Breguet fan

But your pics are impeccable, I am really enjoying the view of the WG blue guilloche dial.

On the RG version it would have been nice...

...for the moon to be RG also. It would stand out more against the light-colored guilloche 'clouds.'

That’s a good point. [nt]

That blue dial is to die for

Even better in reality! [nt]

Blue dial is one of their recent best, I think

The movement side is not quite as nice as the dial, though. The position of the rotor leaves some space that could be better used, I think, in keeping with the use of space on the dial. Maybe off-center rotor + movement-side power reserve would be a bette...

Lovely pieces

I’d take the WG blue dial, Henrik 😉 Thank you very much for the fine pictures. George

As the dial is of solid, is the blue coming from blued gold?

Like the famous blued gold dial from an Ellipse? I am not sure if I like the 7337 or the 7137 more. However: I like them both a lot! Thank you for the impressions.
