Aquanaut 40mm v Breguet Marine II Big Date

Dear Purists

Want to get your vote on the above 2 pieces (rubber strap, water proof casual ss watch), I don't onw any of them but am planning to get one or the other. I wouldn't consider the Aquanaut until the 40mm comes out but there was such a long waiting list until recently. The Marine II on the other hand is an older model and is more readily available. (Any other choice / suggestion?)

I know this is the Breguet forum, so will get biased results but I konw most forum readers go into other brands anyway. Pricing is usually not discussed here but we sometimes need to come up againt practical questions and pricing (value for money) is an important factor as the PP is quite a bit more.

And each of these 2 is a good choice, IMO. But personally, I would go on the Breguet Marine: A Superb dial, nice hands, pure DNA of the brand. And a superb presence on the wrist. A watch which can go under a suit sleeve, or more casual. Best, Nicolas
