My response is what I have been given as I have traveled the world. The best watch is the one you love the most. However, when purists argue about the best, Breguet, Patek and Vacheron Constantin are in my opinion the top three in the world today.

Welcome to the forum firstly Breguet are considered the alternative to Patek but its also subjective as we all like different things quality wise they are up at the top with the other 10 or so top brands goodluck with your choice

IMHO, the positive : timeless design, exquisite dial, affordable price ; non-positive: rather small even for my 6.5 in wrist, non in-house movement, accuracy not too impressive -like +/- 30 s a day. currently I own the ref 1775 with enamel dial and the 31...
