Breguet

Dear all Today, I am the proud owner of a brand new Breguet, which I purchased from a local AD here in Singapore. I started looking for a steel watch in steel bracelet some months ago (all my other watches are too delicate to be a "daily beater") and comp...

The dials on the Marine series of watches are fantastic. Do you think you would ever get the rubber strap for a completely different look? Bill

Hi Bill Thanks for the compliments. Actually most people tell me the Marine looks nicer on rubber strap and the bracelet clashes with the sporty looks. However, I prefer steel bracelets to rubber and hence focused on the bracelet pieces (same for AP RO, V...  

You made a great choice. I bought mine in March with the rubber strap. Originally, I wanted the bracelet but it just didn't look right. There is a new bracelet that will be available in about 3 months. Enjoy your watch!!!

We both made great choices! I must admit I took awhile to warm up to the steel bracelet too but grew to like it in the end. The rubber strap is much more popular here from what I noticed . Thanks for the tip that the new bracelet is coming for the Breguet...

Yes I love this watch for the reasons you pointed! Some of my watches I prefer looking at the movement. For this Marine, it's the dial that captivates me! Cheers Robin

Congratulations for having taken the choice of originality and elegance, We should more often speak of this Marine, a superb alternative to other sports watches. Not really a diving watch, as it would need a turning bezel for that, but a watch which will ... 

Yes, I agree the Marine is much less spoken about (although many posted about it recently in WUS forums) compared to the other high end sports watches. It is also relatively lower in price (probably less collectible) but in terms of looks, it doesn't lose...

I am still very much in love with the stunning dial! Wearing it most of the days now (also resting my other watches with leather straps as Singapore has been so hot and humid lately! ) This Breguet Marine really completes my collection! Cheers Robin

Wow yours in blue looks great too! I never saw it in the flesh but pictures of it look stunning. I am pretty sure the blue Marines are rarer as I have only seen my silver dial and the black dial version in Singapore. Congrats on getting that great watch. ...
