Question for 5817 Marine owners
Hi there, new to the forum.
I am strongly considering the marine 5817ST for my next purchase. I was wondering how easy (or difficult) it is to change straps on the watch given the screwed lugs.
I am thinking of getting the white dial steel model with the black rubber strap but it would be nice to be able to change straps occasionally without going to an AD.
I would like a leather option and I've seen an old listing with the navy rubber strap usually seen on the blue dial version which looks very nice too ((http://www.watchclub.com/w7563/breguet-marine-39mm-stainless-steel-complete-set).
Would appreciate hearing about user experiences. Thanks
ps. Apologise if this is already covered. Older threads I've found talking about strap changes didn't talk about the process .
THANKS

I own a classique too (5207- retrograde seconds) but also too afraid to try a strap change on my own. Now that it's confirmed that you need to have two screwdrivers on either side for both models, I'm inclined to bring it to the AD for any strap changes.....
no worries
