My reference 7137

I have been a huge fan of Breguet for many many years. Too many times I visited the Breguet boutiques drooling over their lovely watches. It almost got to the point it was embarassing. This year, I set my mind on finding a lightly used, well cared for ref 7137 .

After several months, I gave up my hunt, as I wanted a very specifically configured 7137. I then purchased a wonderful 7337 as it was my close 'second choice'.
Of course, no sooner than I took delivery of my 7337, I received an email from a well regarded dealer that they had just found a used 7137 in my exact desired specification.  After a little deliberation, having just spent my 'set aside Breguet money', I had to buy it, as I had looked for one for so long.

Needless to say, I am most delighted with it. It ticks all the boxes for me.

* Yes - I know I need to learn how to take better watch photos this year....

Breguet is one of the few manufacturers offering true guilloche. No clue why they arent more popular. More for us

More for us indeed. I think they are sadly (albeit forunately) very undervalued in the used market. I don't understand it either.

You right. I see one Breguet in the flesh and had it in my hands. After the experience i wanted a Breguet. I never collect it, but i can still do it. If a good offer comes my way, i will purchase a Marine from 2012-2018.

Huge congrats on a real beauty!
