I am new to the fine watch world and new to this forum. Looking for insight and advice. Currently interested in an estate Breguet 3237BR, Classique Chronograph (18k Rose Gold on a Strap with an 18k Rose Gold Buckle, sapphire crystal). Have not gone to AD to see it yet (not sure of age) but it is priced at $14k. I am wondering about other's experiences with buying a used Breguet watch. What reasons are there to not consider a used Breguet "like new with box and papers"? How reliable is the brand? What about the price? How much room is there to negotiate with an AD? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.
