7717 movement
the 7717 uses the same f. piguet movement as the 5157, but decorated in the Baroque engraving style that is so prevalent on their watches. I find it technically impressive, but aesthetically uninspiring and inappropriate to the brand history that they vaunt so often.

That is very informative. I am deducing that since both the 5157 and the 5327 use the 502.3 movement, with the 502.3DRP1 being used in the perpetual calendar, the base for all three watches is the F.Piguet movement, modified by Breguet for the various fun...

sorry, I don't have any pictures of the 5327, but if it is the same Cal. number from Breguet, it probably looks quite similar. To answer the other question, most of the grand complications I've seen from breguet until this year have that plate engraving, ...
