After I had been offered that georgous titanium xx last year I tried to buy a second hand 3680 but eventually I sold my previous watches (chaumet, blancpain & JLC gran sport chronograph) to get myself a brand new 5207.
I had it for one week & i cannot stop looking at it on my wrist; i mean looking at the watch not at the time it may be!It is more exciting having the retrograde second working every minute than the reverso gran sport chronograph retograde minute working every 30 minutes!
By the way it is a white gold one , as I thought it is better when you a just a few connoisseurs are able to know it is gold: the pleasure to have it in goldd but not showing of!
The only thing I am still not sure about is whether I would like the 5207 with a day date, through a window or with the serpentine hand as on thre 3680: I know that we can have a look at our cellular or newspaper if we want to know which day we are, but still....
the last thing is that I was invited last week by Jaeger in la fondation cartier to open their caliber 875: such a great day!! I went there my xx titanium instead of the reverso gran sport just to let them know that I was better in love with Breguet ( my new 5207 had not arrived yet); but this was so great beeing with the master timemakers from jlc & to unbuild & rebuit a watch!
If I had to change my job I would love doing that: i surprised myself whisting & singing while working on the caliber as if I was back to childhood! I liked very much this jlc reverso grande date but definitely the 5207 is outpassing it with elegance
eventually another tricky thing is that at the age of 51 i like having longer hands & legible numbers as on my 2 breguet's
