Hello - I'm brand new to this forum and I'm in the market for my very first Breguet. Largely driven by price-point, I have narrowed my choices to 3 Classique-Simple models. The 5907, 5920, and 5930. While shopping at an authorized Breguet dealer in California they showed me a 5933 (new) - they only have one in white gold (BB). I searched all the posts here for the 5933, and found 2 posts from a few years back.
"... The 5933 is a special edition in honor of the 300th anniversary of the founding of St. Petersburg. 100 watches each in yellow, white, and pink gold will be made. It is basically a 5930 with special engravings on the back as well as Russian words on the dail, and the guilloche dial has gold studs on the hour markers as well as a octagon outer layer rather than the usual round shape ... ".
It's a bit more than I intended to spend (about 1.7x the cost of a 5930). I like the watch, but I'd like some opinions (please) on the "added value" of a limited edition watch like this? In other words, will the 5933 hold it's value (as well or better) than say a 5930? Any other comments about the 5933 would be welcome.
Thank you.
