New arrival!

I always loved pilots chronos and always thought the Type XX was the prettiest one. But somehow I never grabbed one... I have now! ...

I’m very fond if this watch myself, but as you never got one. Hopefully that will change one day...

Yours looks fantastic, I’m curious how you feel about it on the long term...

Me too.

I'd like to think it's a keeper--but lots of watches feel like keepers two days into ownership! It always helps, as in this case, when it seems like a lot more watch than $$$. Lessens the future temptation to flip it.

Beautiful

I tried getting mine on the tan strap but the AD could only provide the dark brown.

The tan is really nice

The guy who sold it to me sent it with this, and also with a black calf strap that appears to be original to the watch. (Don't see myself using the black calf very often, but it's nice to have nonetheless.)

Congrats. Looks amazing

Don't wait too long

If the day ever comes that these get some traction in the collecting community, this version--the original with gold-capped crown--is sure to be the one that rises in value first.

Very handsome pilot chrono

Thanks!

It's such a nice watch, and available for such a relatively reasonable price, I don't know what took me so long.

Beautiful,

Uncrossed 't', 200m WR and gold cap, and, just like yours, tritium dial. A question: mine appears to have a luminova hands over its tritium dial... and in this picture, at least, yours looks the same. Is that right? And do you know if that means that our ...

Hi there, my hands were replaced by Breguet (Its on the service document) and I think it will be the same for your watch - this was normal for servicing that went back to Breguet so

I think you can assume your watch was serviced by Breguet at some point. The tell tale sign will be if your second hand has a thicker width at the centre (as with mine). The original second hand would have been straight like the photo below shows: Its sup...

Thanks for the info!

No straight seconds hand on mine, either

Congrats! Stunning watch the XX with that sweet domed crystal!

From all XX models, I prefer this size and like it also better than the Transatlantique with date window. Enjoy yours! George

Agreed!

 By: blau : March 13th, 2021-10:07
For a long time I held back on this one only because I preferred the brushed bezel on the Transatlantique... but I think I got over that.

Congrats are a great addition 👍

Excellent decision!

I have been “pregnant” with getting a XX for a long time now. I personally find your version together with the XXII in Titanium the prettiest one. The dial is to die for. Especially because of the missing white date window. Many congrats. It fits your wri...

Aloha Blau!

This appears to be a XX I sold late last year to JLater on WUS. I owned it since 1999 when I acquired it from a long time member of TZ in Hawaii. in my 20 years of ownership it was serviced twice, the last time about 8 years ago, and a couple of years lat...

Mahalo!

Amazing, that's the one! Very interesting history on the piece. Thanks so much for jumping in! Seems unlikely the hands would have needed replacing in the first 3-4 years of the watch's life. Could it be that it just came from the factory with tritium on ...

I can’t answer that for sure

 By: John : March 14th, 2021-19:34
but neither I or Breguet replaced the hands during my ownership.

👍

An absolute beauty and pleasure to wear!

Huge congratulations! Welcome to the Club, Alex ...

Thanks! I *really* don't know why I waited so long

This thing is GREAT!

Hey, it took me more than 8 years to finally buy my Fifty Fathoms...

 By: AlexSunrise : March 17th, 2021-18:48
Life and other watches, this Type XX, among others, always got in the way, so I get you completely. Congrats once again! Alex
