What does everyone think of the new Tribute to Fifty Fathoms Aqua Lung?
I have to say I like it much better than last year's rendition of the "No-Rad"
And even though I already have two modern FF's, I'm seriously contemplating this one...
The only thing I'm not sure about are the holes in the strap, which I feel seems bit off balance for a watch case of this size.
But I do very much like this dial with its big, bold indices compared to the original modern dial...

I think they look cool. They look like the vintage Life Saver! I really like the big hole canvas strap! I know they have one in New York in the boutique. They are set to release in Sept. or Oct and they will be limited to 500 pieces. They are also taking ...

Not that the watch is not cool, but I feel a bit lost with this one. I don't see the added value ( interest ) of this one, compared to the 2007 or even 2003 version. If Blancpain wants to revisit the FF Glorious past, they should stick to the aesthetics o...

Dear Nicolas, I too, much prefer the 2003 anniversary in every single aspect! However, because it was so hard to find mine in the first place, I have been less inclined to wear it for actual water activities and had been on the fence for the last couple y...
Now you should maybe have " a dive " into the Vintage FF, my friend...
They will offer you something you won't feel, even with a 2003 FF: A lot of soul! Best, Nicolas.

The problem is I haven't been able to find a single credible vintage FF yet... so I have resigned to looking at these somewhat "souless" re-editions... C

there will be no matt finished steel bracelet for that specific watch. So, a beautiful watch with limited options and premium price - compared to the simple FF (2007). Nothing more, nothing less ;-) Oliver
Yes... so I am considering future possible options...
what I meant is if the regular steel/brushed X-71 bracelet would work with this Aqualung edition with its matte finished case.. Seems from pictures that it might...? C
There is nothing like ...
one X-71 for all. They are almost different for each watch, because of the different heights of the cases. The approach is this chase is "perfection" ;-) By the way, X-71 will much more difficult to get in the future (or even now) as the whole Leman line ...
