Dear Nicolas,
I too, much prefer the 2003 anniversary in every single aspect! However, because it was so hard to find mine in the first place, I have been less inclined to wear it for actual water activities and had been on the fence for the last couple years deciding whether I should buy a "regular" FF or not...
I must admit, I feel in love with this year's Aqualung edition at the first moment I saw the pictures this week... Then on second thought, I realized why I liked it so much... because it looks so much like my beloved 2003 anniversary as opposed to the regular FF! (bezels, indices)
Does anyone know if a steel bracelet would "work" with this matte/brushed finish of this Aqualung? Still some soul searching to do before making the decision here...=)

I have to say I like it much better than last year's rendition of the "No-Rad" And even though I already have two modern FF's, I'm seriously contemplating this one... The only thing I'm not sure about are the holes in the strap, which I feel seems bit off...

Now you should maybe have " a dive " into the Vintage FF, my friend...
They will offer you something you won't feel, even with a 2003 FF: A lot of soul! Best, Nicolas.

The problem is I haven't been able to find a single credible vintage FF yet... so I have resigned to looking at these somewhat "souless" re-editions... C

there will be no matt finished steel bracelet for that specific watch. So, a beautiful watch with limited options and premium price - compared to the simple FF (2007). Nothing more, nothing less ;-) Oliver

what I meant is if the regular steel/brushed X-71 bracelet would work with this Aqualung edition with its matte finished case.. Seems from pictures that it might...? C
There is nothing like ...
one X-71 for all. They are almost different for each watch, because of the different heights of the cases. The approach is this chase is "perfection" ;-) By the way, X-71 will much more difficult to get in the future (or even now) as the whole Leman line ...
