The Best Modern Blancpain MilSpec?

I do know that there are a lot of voices regarding this super big price tag of this Blancpain watch especially it has the same component 9K gold component of Omega Seamaster and my buddy has told me "No Way" But I do want to know how the watch actually looks alike and luckily local Blancpain Boutique has one for viewing and when I handled it on hand, the watch is simply stunning from all around and I think Blancpain does listen to Blancpain loyalists and users comments about what they really expect a legend Blancpain should be and I am glad that Blancpain HQ has communicated good with cares about those feedbacks. This Art 3, I think after AC-01 and Mokarran, is also one of the "Must Have" for modern Blancpain collectors as the art 3 has inheritaged correctly all the needed components of Blancpain NDA, low profile, no date and matt satin case finishing。 I am impressed about this watch。 Sales lady told me that there are a lot of enquiries and asks about this watch and seems they have received a lot of positive feedback about this watch plus this is a special edition! Oh... Can I have the privilege and get one of this ART 3? 

     

Last Friday Blancpain boutique gave me a call saying that there was one on the way and will reach the shop and ask whether I can confirm the purchase... anyway, after coming out from meetings, I rushed to the boutique and Viola... the watch is there...it comes with sealed plastic bag and seems like I am the first guy to unseal the watch after it leaving the factory. I know that I may not be rational but I think many collectors will agree that it is worth paying for micro-mechanic, with design and legendary NDA and the most important thing is whether you really like the watch or it is simply for investment. Finally without further hesitation, I broke my piggy banks so I left the boutique with Art 3 and I carry a big smile all the way back home..=)

So how does it look comparing with the original TR-900? I have searched the web and still cannot find one, so I have taken some side by side pictures for your reference and these pictures are for reference and definitely not for any reproduction of mis-use。

I still do not have time to conduct a detailed review of this Art 3, but I think in general the solid mass of this watch case gives you a similar feeling of the TR-900 which is solid build, compact, dense but very correct size.

The buckle is also made of 9K gold, but I have no idea whether the spring bars are also made of 9K Gold？ Any Expert has any idea and comments about?

Comparisons of the Mokarran Vs the Art 3 and TR-900...

I do know that I should learn for better photo techniques and should buy a good camera instead of using a vintage phone camera to take these pictures. Resolution is not good enough especially the Mokarran is out focus but as Mokarran is designed for water diving... but this imperfected picture with extra blurring has created a feeling about how Mokarran looks under water,,....=)
