Basically, I noticed two different cases for the AM: One is the " normal " Mispec case, and the other is the TR 900 case.

Its amazing to me how many types of Blancpain case designs have been made. If you look at the Rolex 5513 it was made for 28 years and there are only 3-4 different case designs during that period. And look at the seadweller. I think they had only two diffe...

Certainly not the same case maker, for sure.
As you have the funky FF from the seventies which shares the same case you can see on other brands.... While the round cases are more specific to Blancpain. I doubt Blancpain made the case " in house ", as a lot of brands ordered them to case makers. An e...

...with those formed cases....I wonder if caseback insides from the 'round case' early FFs can provide any clues as to how many different case makers supplied Blancpain.

If we refer to the example of the CK 2913 and the DSA, on the first you had the " HF " logo, while on the second, it is not mentionned. Best, Nicolas.

If no case marking is there, I was thinking more along the lines of what machining marks or decoration (machining turning) are inside the caseback, and inside the case itself. It won't tell anyone who made it, but it may dinstinguish cae types.
When I'm back home, will post some inside case backs, for you to see.
