The original leather strap in medium blue is very nice, no question about it, but what is the point of a non-waterproof strap on a watch that is 300 m waterproof?
So I went straight to my favorite AD to change the original medium blue leather strap for a canvas strap from BP in dark blue.
Unfortunately, when changing the strap there were „complications“ (one of the screwed and for safety reasons also clued pins broke).
But due to an excellent service of the watchmaker (a very nice and competent lady) and the Brand Manager of Austria (situated in Germany) the spare parts could be delivered in a very short time, and so I had the watch back in my hands very soon.
Now I can jump into the water with it without hesitation. 😉

The screws are solid red gold.
And they are (too?) soft with a very small thread. This in combination with the clue made them break. Best Thomas ...
