What a premiere!. A bulova Proto!

I´ve enjoyed a lot for long time the nice story about the US Navy diver´s watch test... Rolex (model without crow guards), a cheap Enicar, Bulova, Blancpain... All them were sended to be tested.

Is curious to see that Bulova made a similar watch to the Blancpain FF... identical case back with a unique two-parts case. And as we can see in the pics, an identical bezel and the same microbille finish that we can find in the TR and Milspecs...

What happened to the Bulova project is a mistery... Only two examples of this prototype “Bulova UDT” Navy dive watch are known to exist. And now, I´ve just admired one!

I´m sure that the moment you lived was a "climax" moment.

thanks for sharing the background Nicolas. I m still impressed with everything we saw at the GTG. It was mostly Rolex, but sometimes some magical other pieces like these three beauties were put on the table.
