Here's what I have found

 

ref.5580 is 34mm across and 11mm thick:

ref.2585 is 38mm across and 13mm thick

Obvisouly the watch is larger, has a new design and has received screw down corwn and pushers.

I don't see why the movement would have changed.

I did not find anything about ref. 2685, are you sure about the number ?

Thanks for the pics and info guys. I had my 5580 delivered yesterday and sits on my wrist as I type. I absolutely love it already! I will post some wrist shots at the weekend, once I get some decent light. Merrick
