Great watch and perfect strap
Like you, I've always loved the FF but couldn't quite pull the trigger -- size, price, boldness, a few extra details. This one checks all the boxes -- beautiful execution.
But, unlike you, I still held back. As you say, it's not inexpensive. But it is beautifully executed. Would it ever have come to fruition without Hodinkee? We'll probably never know and most won't care.

I kinda felt strange when he wrote the “PS” below. It was contradictory to his post. Strange post. I wonder what the true intention is, was it a review or was it a discreet offer to sell?

I’m sorry again for any confusion. I love the watch. It was not a discrete offer to sell. The post was meant to be a love letter to the watch and the PS was purely tongue in cheek.

What you described is pure “horological infatuation” much like a guy who shows up to a girls place every night to play the guitar for her. It is beautiful, this piece.

If I had this piece, I’d keep it a couple of years to see if I like it. Honestly, watch condition is over-rated when selling pieces, just as long as you do not ding the piece. Have a good one!
