... it looks like you can improve the fit a bit by giving the buckle side a bit more way. Best possible solution is to place the Nato strap with the holder at six touching the lugs - like on this picture: If that does not improve the situation I recommend...  

Thanks Henrik, Your suggestion helped me somewhat. It's fits a bit better at the expense of the metal hoops not being perfectly level. Since it's the offset is fairly minor, I can live with it. Do these straps come in different sizes? I have a 6.75 inch w... 

What are your thoughts on the metal bracelet? If I were to get the watch, that is the combo I like most (at least from pics).

I thought that my strap was too small with just under 7 inch wrist. The end only just bends back into the nato loop so I'm guessing they must do a larger size for a bigger wrist. To be honest I can live with it until the strap needs replacing and I don't ...
