The x71 is one of the more challenging bracelets to resize, and would be a bad choice for your first resizing attempt. The screws do not go all the way through the links, rather only hold the side links on, so you'll have to remove 4 screws and put 2 back in, and with the polished sides, there is a high chance of missing and scratching the bracelet.
Don't take this as a personal comment, I'd not reccomend anyone takes on a BP bracelet for a first try at resizing in the same way that one shouldn't try changing the strap on a modern Breguet or Chronoswiss until one has the feel for simplier schemes
