Blancpain FF " 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 ".
Jun 25, 2010,00:37 AM
As we speak about the new FFs releases and the Tribute, here is a " real Mac Coy " from the end of the 50ies, one of my very favourite FF.
Not mine, though, but I had the opportunity to see it in the flesh during our last European GTG, and I couldn't miss the opportunity to take some pictures of this beauty.
41 mm SS polished case, Radium " 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 " dial, small crown, domed plexy, superb bakelite bezel, Cal 1361.
And, as often the great " litterature " engraved on the case back:
A great example of Vintage fascination!
Best,
Nicolas

That is the only problem with Vintage Blancpain. There are just so few of them!!! It has such a classic look I think that is one of my favorite early blancpain models. It looks like a very early serial number. Well done Nicholas
Not mine, Brian

As I already own the Lip Blancpain which is as old as this one, and which also comes with a 3/ 6 / 9 / 12 dial. But I must admit that, for a moment, the idea to get it crossed my mind. Best, my friend. Nicolas
just to pleasure ...

I have to confess that I cheated a bit on Marco Van Basten. In fact, it is one of us, Michel. But he looks so much like Marco Van Basten that I couldn't resist. Best, my friend. Nicolas
Double thanks
