A Comment about L-evolution

Hi Jacky

I take your comment about the new L-evolution series on board.  I have a couple of reactions.  When I first saw the pictures of the L-evolution I was worried.  The pictures made the watch look too strong, too bold, too un-Blancpain.  Then I saw the watches in the metal at Basel.  Wow.  180 degree change in opinion.  In hand they were magnificent.  The depth of the dial, the organic form of the case blew me away and put the new moon phase at the top of my list.  So from that I would say withhold your judgment until you have the watch in hand.  I think this is one of those watches where the life of the piece just is't there in photos and you just need to see it in the flesh.  Second, even if at the end of the day it doesn't win you over, remember that the classic lines of Blancpain continue.  The Villeret moon phase is still there in the Collection.  L-evolution is a series in addition to the other series at Blancpain.
