1958 U.S Navy Experimental Diving Unit
Not sure if this has been posted on here in the past, but given the upcoming exhibition I thought it might be nice to show it.
In 1958 the US military put several commercial watches through their paces, The Fifty Fathoms, Rolex Submariner, Enicar Sherpa and Seapearl. This was appears to be while they were testing the Bulova prototype.
I think this page says it all for me.
The watches were supplied by a Mr Allen V. Tornek.

Thanks for posting the video Pimousse. I thought most of you would have seen this before. I imagine many companies would love an endorsement like this today from the US Navy.
