...finally the case back photo. The first photo is my case back and the second one is the case back of the US Navy that was in the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms exhibition in 2010. Although a little hard to see on the second photo, the engraving "Blancpain Milspec" is there but much more worn than on my watch.

Can't wait to see the watch once it's back in one piece. That dial is amazing. They don't come much rarer (and, for lack of a better word, cooler) than that one. Please post more scans! Darren

congratulations

...but an interesting question....... I see it here, and I saw it on Dr Strong's picture of my Milspec1 from when he owned it, does anyone know why these o-rings have a patch of blue, red and beige 'paint' on them? I work in an industry where we use elast...

Painted dots...

My guess: Painted patches/dots/etc are often used to signify that a key joint (usually a bolted joint) has been checked and correctly torqued. In this case, perhaps it shows that the watch has been serviced and pressure-checked. Still sometimes used in au...

Some more photos as requested .....

.... but not to the usual high standard of other members I'm afraid! The colours on the o-ring are a mystery to me too so any thoughts would be much appreciated!...

....miracle about the third one... !!!! never have seen it bevore with this writings on the luenette !!!! best Stephan

Looks like it is a TR 900 dial, without the correct bezel.

 By: amanico : April 20th, 2012-01:09
Now I would like to see the case back, the movement, and the profile of the case, on this one... Best, Nicolas

correct bezel.....

 By: XX-FF : April 26th, 2012-08:36
Both watches are absolutely identical (case, dial, hands and movement with needles hacking seconds) unless the crown (and his tube) and insert of the bezel. In a few months you will have more informations. PS: I know two other TR 900 insert "minutes".

Can't wait to see that, my friend! [nt]
