Let's compare it with a Bunde... What do you think? The size, if it bis 45 mm, is not a problem as we saw it with the former 2007 release. I regret the presence of the date... Best, Nicolas...

It's a great effort, sans the date window. I still really don't understand why such a re-edition needs a date display, but I suppose there are some people who can't live without one. Cheers, Daos

I must admit that I have two feelings... One feeling is really good, because always is great that some brands re-edited legendary watches. I only hope, in this case, see a nice Milspec re-edition, for example. It´d be a perfect duo with my vintage Mi... 

It certainly is reminiscent of the past, which is good, in my book. I wish/hope it's smaller than 45 mm though. A forlorn hope?

the date ruin the whole look....pity

I am not really convinced by the photo of this tribute, but I reserve my opinion until I can see the definitive watch in real. Regarding the date/no date issue, I can understand that one may prefer without. But I don't get why the date would be invalid or...  

I am very surprised that Blancpain has made the connection to there military past. I think they have such a rich history in vintage military watches that they could really market to the public.

New " No Rad " with the date, but it is a matter of taste, and indeed a personal and subjective point of view, Marv. Without date, TO ME, it would have been a more attractive watch. Just my point of view, indeed. Best, Nicolas

My remark was just a precision that echoed other posts, in which this new Tribute to FF was incorrectly associated to other re-issues (such as the Longines Greenlander) for which the date had been added without respect for the original models.

Marv, indeed, this re-ed is close to some No Rad with date watches. Certanlly, there were more variants with date than without (the Bunde, for example). It´s a matter of taste: I prefer these diver watches without date: Longines Diver, Omega Seamaste... 

I must say that i am tempted to go out an place an order asap. I'm not that worried by the date, times do change. George
