Blancpain

Newbie to BP requires help on perpetual chronograph models….

Hi, I’m a bit of a newbie with Blancpain and would like some help on the older perpetual chronograph models.

I know the current model is the 2685, but at 40mm this is too big for my rather slender wrist.  So I was wondering what are the differences between the 2685 and the older 2585 model?  Is it just that the newer model is in a larger case and there is no difference in the movement?

Also, I’ve seen an even older model, advertised as the 5580, although I can find little information on this.  Is this the same movement as in the 2585/2685, but without the automatic winding?  Or is the model number wrong (as I’ve also seen 5581’s and 5585’s on a google search).  Searches on this older model seem to suggest that it is much smaller in diameter (34-35mm) and would probably fit my slender wrist much more nicely than either of the 2585/2685 models.

Has anyone got any pictures comparing any of the models above?

Thanks in advance for any help
