Saw this in the flesh at Festival of Speed...
I did think it looked better in the flesh in terms of the exterior than the photos give it credit for, however, it does look like it rides too high...
So styling isn't perfect but is sufficient for a DB - grand tourer.
HOWEVER, Aston's interiors are still shockingly poor and cheap looking for a luxury brand. The car's interior was incredibly dated. Aston could do with just 50% of S Class magic to make all the difference.
Somewhere in between for me

Still too much Fisker on the one hand and too little that is fresh. It is conventionally pleasing but lacks the edginess of the Vulcan. Not saying that it should have been transferred one to one but more of it and less of the DB7/9/DBS aesthetic would hav...

Would like to see side profile and rear 3/4 in person... Also, the NA V12 sounds were intoxicating...I wonder how the twin turbo sounds in person. 458 V8 -> California T V8 was not as nice but not as bad as I thought it would/could be.

an excellent car in every respect but I agree with some of the other comments that it isn't the best looking modern Aston Martin. That title still belongs to the DBS and Vanquish II in my eyes. Technologically, it is clearly superior. Cheers, Filip
